REMEMBRANCE OF PAIN is a colombian Progressive Doom Death Metal  band that fuses since depressive and atmospheric to strong and melodic riffs developed in every song, all this together with deat metal and lyric voices, besides using electronic arrangements.

 

Their first CD named “Beneath Our Shadows”  was produced by the band itself and released in 2004. This release is made of 11 strong and melodic tracks with a great rhytm quality.

 

By the year 2007, a three song single is recorded, released in limited edition showing a darker side of the band in comparison to the first CD 

 

In 2009 Remembrance Of Pain releases the so expected second CD called “Descending Into Chaos”  which contains 11 tracks that fuse different sounds, showing clearly an evolution of the band, not leaving behind all the melancholic and strong sounds

 

REMEMBRANCE OF PAIN participated in the colombian compilation “True Metal Subversión Vol.2” and “Conquer Winter Compilation” from the british label Conquer Records, allowing its diffusion in Europe. 

 

 

REMEMBRANCE OF PAIN has been played in different specialized radio stations in Colombia and Southamerica.

 

In its trajectory, the band has played in important musical events such as  Altavoz 2006 and 2008, La Fiesta de La Música 2006 and 2008, The Troopers Antioquia and Metalmedallo.
